It's a permanent ink on your body, why wouldn't it have a significant meaning. It's oddly romantic in a way to me, getting something like that. You must've loved that cat a whole lot if she's forever embedded in your body like that.
Your body, your business. And anyone who thinks otherwise, is stupid. And as for a tat of your kitten's name, I see nothing wrong with that at all. Animals are sentient creatures who can touch our hearts and our souls, and unfortunately, their life spans are far shorter than ours. Wanting to keep a piece of them with you forever is perfectly sensible.
Lost of people scoffed at me getting my Thousand Arms tattoo. Who knows, I might not like it in ten years (blasphemey) but it means something to me now. So I think getting the name of your kity poo is not rediculous at all. And I for one don't think you're a lesbian.

Someone told me that my mother needed to knock some sense into me, because that was the most ridiculous tattoo that they had ever heard of.
