Hey everyone!

So it's good to see that some people have already joined. I posted this in a blog over on the KHK MA's page, but I'll do it here as well so everyone can mingle.

Basically, everyone just has to introduce themselves! Doesn't matter what you say...just tell us a little bit about yourself and get in touch with other Kill HannaH fans!

Here's ( Read more... )

Thanks for replying. =)

Yes, Kill Hannah fans are far and few between but you find them, they're very dedicated. Where would you want to move in the US? Boston (Massachusetts) concert scene is dying lately. The mayor enforced all these lame rules (concerts must end at 11pm is one of them) so most bands don't want to come here anymore. It's pretty bad. So I understand your quest for music!

For most people, I've found, it is the KH live shows that cement them as fans. It means a lot that they're so damn nice to everyone.

Oooh...hmm...Photoshop? Do you think you could make a pretty banner for the community if you have time? =)

Actually, the first thing I noticed in getting into KH was the loyalty of their fans and I thought it was wonderful. It's incredible to be a part of that. And everyone is so nice!

Hmm, see I'm not so sure yet - mainly because I have no idea how to go about the process of moving there. I hear it's very hard to do so :/
I don't always like to say one of the main influence is to be closer to my preferred music scene, because [some people here are a bit judgemental like that haha xD] but yes, I'm admitting it. I still haven't found the perfect place, but most definitely east coast. :]

Ah, I would definitely love to give it a try, but not saying I'm all that good or anything :p

Yes! I'm 20 and I've been going to shows for about 10 years and I've never never met fans like Kill Hannah fans. I LOVE Kill Hannah fans. It sucks, but most times I can really start to dislike a band because of their fans but not Kill Hannah's. They're just awesome.

It is. One of my friends is engaged to a guy from England. She's trying to get him over here now in time for their February wedding. It's so hard. I wish you the best of luck!

Trust me...whatever you make is better than anything I can make. I can't even figure out how to upload the Photoshop I have onto my Mac!

so hello everyone. my name is Kristina, i'm 26, and i'm a Colonel from Kentucky. i'm a relatively new fan, but i'm hugely dedicated. they're the first band i've seen in a long time that i thought was worth getting really excited about.

i've only seen them play once, but i'm hoping very much to change that. was lucky enough to meet the band after the show (i'd met mat about a month before at a Placebo show in Chicago), and the fact that they were so *nice* made me get serious about promoting them.

my other favorite bands are Placebo (fave band ever), AFI, My Chemical Romance, HIM, Negative and Lovex. when i'm not listening to music, i'm riding horses and working on writing a novel (or twelve).

Aww Mat at Placebo? I always talk about Placebo while talking about Kill Hannah. I think a lot of people are turned off by KH because of Mat's voice...the same reason a lot of people are turned off by Placebo is because of Brian's voice. While they sound totally different, I love both of their voices because they're not completely ruined and made unrecognizable by Pro Tools ( ... )

i've seen Placebo three times; in November of 2006 at the Riviera in Chicago, April of 2007 at House of Blues in Chicago (where i met Mat), and at Projekt Revolution in Indianapolis. as far as Steve leaving, I'd almost rather have the other two just decide to end the band than have them go on without him. Steve's been there for eleven years and it's hard to imagine the band without him.

and yeah, i've made the comparison myself between Mat and Brian. they're both great vocalists who have voices that stand out.

It is weird now that he's gone. I, personally, don't think they'll break up. They might try a new drummer but I think they'll just go the Orgy route...not do anything. Not break up, but not do anything.

I've only been to Chicago for New Heart but from what I saw, I loved it. I hate Boston so much but I'm in school right now so I can't move. What do you think are the pros and cons of Chicago? (I'm going to be a hair stylist so jobs aren't too much of an issue...)

So, I'm erin. I live in Texas, and it was pretty much flat out impossible for me to get to nh4x this year, considering I just turned fourteen. Don't get me wrong though, supposedly I seem a lot "older" than I am, haha.

I've only been a Kill Hannah fan for a little over a year, and I own all four of the CDs you can currently buy. On february second, it will have been a year since my first (and only, so far) kh concert. Three of the fifteen things I'd like to accomplish before I turn 25 involve KH, which, I guess is a lot. I have two KH shirts (the welcome to chicago MF one and the "military baby doll" one). I have the KH necklace and 2 patches. haha, I'm a girl obsessed.

Uh, about my life not concerning KH? Doesn't really exist (considering all I do is like, drool over the boys while listening to their music or posting/reading on kh_slash, yeah, idk, some people oppose that place, but it's a hella lot less vicious than some other communities I've been on. which, also brings me to the fact that NO i don't hate any of their gfs, so don't bitch ( ... )

That is a lot! What are they, if you don't mind me asking?

Nothing wrong with a little slash and a little boy love. Haha.

What questions do you have about the KHK?

killhannahx3 January 7 2008, 04:08:17 UTC
uh, one is just to see them in concert again. another is to go to nh4x and the other is just to have an actual conversation with at least one of the band members... they're cool guys, and "nice necklace, it's rad" doesn't really count. (lol, that'd be Mat)

I don't really have any questions. I'm just in denial. I want KH to be sucessful, but that involves MORE fans. I want them to stay my own little secret and pride and joy.
haha.

Oh, they're definitely cool guys. Just walk up and talk to them. Unless they're wicked busy, they don't deny. =) Even then, they'll stay and talk until they get yelled at.

Ok, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Well,

I'm Steph, and I have only been a part of the KHK since recently. I do the KHK [Holland] page on myspace together with Pascal, but mostly it's me doing all the work. [What's kind of wrong at that idea people?]

Anyway, I'm a 17 year old, but soon to be an 18 year old. [Finally.] I live in a place called Ede, and it's mostly Christians around here, so it's not that much of a great place for a fan of the boys.
I personally think I am pretty short, because I compare myself with my friends, though, to most people on the internet I am tall. [1.73 or just 5"8'.] Still, next to bandmembers I look short. [Exceptions are Frank Iero and Wil Francis, who is just one timy centimeter shorter then I am, whoohoo ( ... )

5'7" is short?! How tall is everyone in Holland? My goodness...I'm only 5'3"...

A KH RP? I can't play (15 hours a week at school PLUS a part time job and doing KHK stuff) but I'd be interested in reading. Would you mind sharing the link?

fallenguitarist January 8 2008, 09:34:10 UTC
You know, I think I need to move to the states. Being 5'7" here hurts my ego. XD Haha, I'm just kidding, I'm sorry. No offence to anyone that is even the slightest bit shorter then I am, I just know tall people. [I have three friends here that are shorter then me, just barely, the rest is all like, HUGE compared to me.]

It's not specificly a KH RP, it was just a mixed one with all kinds of characters on GJ, but since that one started to bitch against all the RPG'ers on it we kinda moved to Insane Journal now. Though, we're just starting out there so I'm going to share the GJ link. It might be a little weird, but we're just full of imagination.
Between all the school/work/KHK stuff I sometimes find some time to play. Not always though.

Here it is, have fun reading.
It used to be friends only, but I made it public just for you. ;D

Haha well...I'm short, even for America. Most of my friends are height or taller. I'm basically screwed no matter where I go but you'd fit in (well...literally...) with my friends here!

Oooh thank you! I'll read it when I come home from school.
