oh man, i get stuck in that trap too. ever since i was in middle school i've been forking out the quarters for someone that reeeeaaaally wants something from the vending machine, but already spent their money elsewhere. and now it's forking out anywhere from 10 - 20 bucks when everyone wants to eat out somewhere, but oops, someone forgot they don't have any money.. at the END of the meal. and it's not like i have any more money than the people i pay for, in fact i usually have quite a bit less. i just don't know how to say no to people. and i hate letting people down. it's really shitty, really really shitty.
