if it's aikido you're talking about, keep it up, it'll get easier and you'll feel great.

If it's your drinking ability... well at least you didn't make any spelling mistakes.

Heya, offtopic but when does Aikido actually become good? i only had the one session but it was pretty lame. No ball-breaking work-out, no full metal jacket insults, no "go on martin, stick it in him!". Only two throws which were jsut so damn articila and contrived. Sure they work, but only if i stand toally still and don't resist at all. I hate that shit.

I trust your opinion on it, so i'll give it a chance, but it jsut seems totally impractical. Maybe it's being taught better in Cardiff or maybe the throws work when it's not a 5'1 thai girl trying to throw you... she got the technique fine but with only a little resistance she couldn't move me. Just tell me we learn something that actually works!

find a good partner, you'll learn way better when someone gives a resistance and you'll realise the techniques usually move against your range of motion so even if you're tense it doesn't make a difference. you probably need someone at least your height to learn a bit better.
