round 4: beta sign-up post
For this round of khr_undercover, I have decided to keep the mandatory beta rule from previous rounds. No exceptions will be made. I understand that there may be people who are interested in participating in the challenge but do not know anyone who could look over their fics for them, so this is a post where all of you kind souls out there with a good grasp of the English languages can offer your services.
If you are unsure as to what a beta is, or what they do, please have a look at this post. Of course, if you still have questions after reading that you can ask them here, but we ask that you read that post before coming to me.
So if you're not confident enough to participate as a writer, don't have the time, or just don't feel like writing anything (but you'd still like to pinch in), this is where you can offer your services as a beta reader.

EDIT: To answer a question that some of you have asked in the comments, when I ask if you will do pinch-hit beta reading, I'm asking: if I come crying to you a day or two before posting day asking you to beta a fic whose author has nobody to proofread for her/has had their beta show them up, would you be willing to beta that fic and send it to me lightning-fast? As in, a day or two? (Note that I may not require any pinch-hitting from you if everything goes as it should, but because things rarely go as they should, I want to know if I can count on you to help me out if I need you to.)
