Yay for nap transitions! Hang in there if it doesn't work how you want it to! We were golden for several weeks with just one nap and now we are back to two naps at times. Generally Mondays because he needs to recoup after the weekend's festivities and then also a day or two during the week. I had to resign myself to knowing he could do one nap, but he is so much happier if he gets two sometimes. Also, if he does take a morning nap, I won't let him sleep past 11am so that he will still get a decent afternoon nap (even though it is a later starting time).

Anyway, good luck to you! It sounds like a good start for Luke! Yay!! :D

Thanks for the encouragement. Luke's never really done things just "by the book," so I won't be too surprised if it doesn't work just as I hoped. It's always a little bit of a guessing game huh?

btw... We got his stacking cups from Toys R Us around Christmas time. I don't know if they still have them.

Toys R Us has a few varieties of stacking cups... we got ours there too and recently bought a set as a gift.
