I've been sick. I don't think I've been sick like that in at least a few years. But it's over now (mostly) so things are getting back to normal. Luke got a cold right after Thanksgiving, and although he's mostly been himself since then, his nose will not stop running. As I thought about what I am thankful for, I realized that this year it's mostly family. God has put so many wonderful people in my life, especially under the name of "family."

Here's the issue: Luke is fighting his afternoon nap.

Yesterday Luke turned 9 months old and we went to the doctor's to celebrate. It's official; my child is a lollipop. Here are his 9 month stats:

* Weight - 17lbs. (5%)
* Height - 28 3/4in. (70%)
and here's the kicker...
* Head Cir. - 47 1/2 (90%)

I tend to worry a bit about his weight, but the doctor didn't seem worried at all. All is well and Luke ( Read more... )
