Luke has his 2 month appointment this afternoon. I'm excited to see how much he's grown! Ben weighed him last Thursday at his parents house and is guessing that he's about 12 pounds now. Whew! It was a rough night last night. Luke woke up hungry at 12:15, 2:15, 3:15, 5:15, and 7:15... I feel like we're regressing here!

It was partly my own fault. We had a busy day yesterday so I never got a nap. That led to me being very tired last night. When I'm that tired I can't stay awake while feeding him in the middle of the night. If I don' ( Read more... )

Today Luke is 6 weeks old. It's more of a milestone for me than for him. My husband would keep saying... "Take it easy. You won't be fully recovered until 6 weeks." Last weekend Luke had his second real bath. Why does the second one matter? Well, it was a much better bath than the first one.  I got a sponge pad at Target for about $4 that made everything so much easier! Today I chatted with a friend from college that I haven't talked to/seen in awhile. Apparently she's pregnant and is due in July. Wow. I remember when we were in college, commiserating over our long distance relationships. Now we're married and having kids!
