Art commissions as a way to bring in a few dollars (since I seem to recall that you do have some small measure of talent in that area as well).

If I may suggest an idea.

Being able to make TASTY gluten-free pies is a winner. The trick is getting your name known as a specialist who makes special gluten-free food. If you can get some samples to the local Gastrointestinal doctors who treat those with Celiac disease (and leave cards to give their patients) the Docs can tell patients that you make tasty food and give out cards. I'm aware this requires a capital expense and I don't know what your reserves are. But anyone can leave a card -- leaving a card and a treat as proof is far more memorable.

Jean Marie and I were discussing making a day of it this weekend, stripping the pomegranate tree and processing the fruit into juice. Would you like to come over and join in the mess? :)

And the tree was fruitful! I might make a post of this year's Pomegranate Pummeling.
