Denver Not Working Out

Denver is very expensive and big, and I'm not getting the kind of moral support I had hoped, based on people's responses to the notion of my being here, that I had hoped to get toward getting established here. It doesn't feel at all as if it is working out for me, and in fact I feel as though I'm sliding down deeper instead of climbing out.

How long has it been?
Sometimes settling in takes longer than you hoped, maybe you just need to stick it out...but it always sucks.

Not two months yet, but I've done enough moving around to have a pretty good idea when something just takes time and when something is a disaster just waiting to manifest itself fully.

This has been a disaster slowly manifesting itself...
