Personally, I find it unbelievable that NOW they worry about looking objective. They never have before, when their coverage, and everyone's coverage, was so blatantly stacked against the Palestinians. It is situations like this that make me doubt effectiveness of state-funded TV.

I understand that their concern arises from the fact that the advert was made independently of the BBC and then submitted for their consideration. If that is the case, let the BBC produce, or edit, their own version of the advert, and air that version.

It's still hard to believe that in the 21st century there is still a need for fair paycheck act. Equal pay for equal work..how hard is that?

I know, right. It's sad. And what's sadder? In his remarks about the bill, Obama said how wrong it was to fire someone because of their age, gender, ethnicity or disability- WHAT ABOUT 'SEXUAL ORIENTATION' ??? Is it ok to fire someone because of that?

ENDA (the Employee Non-Discrimination Act) will change that, if they ever pass it. Obama supported it during the primary season, so let's hope he gets to that soon.
