i saw the books last night: they were pretty fucking great...
tomorrow, I play in "In-C" by Terry Riley & the Walt Disney Concert Hall, but I have no ride to it, nor do i have the right clothes. God Damn. I've been extremely busy. I need to get done with this week so I can be home for a little bit.

cool! what instrument do you play in it? who's conducting it? what's it like to play it in a big group? how big is the group? tell me, please!

I'm playing Violin, it's conducted by David Rosenboom, the Dean of the music school, its crazy in a big group-- very loud and sometimes sorta chaotic-- everyone has to play within a couple of bars of each other or it sounds like way too much. the group is about 150 people (I think more than 150) much of the music school is playing in it... Terry is going to be there, but I'm not sure if he will have a roll in the performance or not, we didn't rehearse with him...
