They have really grown into STUNNING puppies. I still dig the one with the copper across her chest.. even tho she's a girl...

I'm so glad Nali has a home or I'd REALLY be tempted to steal her. She loves to play, tug, cuddle, and chase tennis balls. She catches on pretty quickly to the "you must sit before you get attention".. until someone else sits and gets petted first, then she just pounces on me. Coal is very similar, but more boyish in that he wants to be *with* me more just to be there. Ie- Fetch to Nali is: get to the ball first, grab it, run off away from everyone cus it's HERS!
With Coal it's: Go to the ball, figure out who wants it, get ahead of them, grab it, hold onto it until the other puppies forget about it and then bring it to me all proud of himself.

I agree with you on the whole girl/boy thing. That's why I love my boys. They "seem" to prefer my attention to being "first! or MINE!" like many of the girls do.
