Classes

So I survived classes. Though I could do without another day quite so stressful for at least a week. Lets start with Math. It went pretty good. I took pages of notes. My hand cramped. I seemed to understand everything she went over in class without any problems. Which was a plus. She seems nice and like someone who's more than willing to help if ( Read more... )

I'm catching up on journals! See? Anyway, I knew you'd do fine with school, and don't worry about the math homework. When I finally bit the bullet and decided to start filling my math requirements at LB (it had been about 8 years since my last math class) I was spending a good 3-4 hours on my homework, too. And that doesn't count the endless hours I spent haunting the math lab. I finally just started doing my homework there in the first place so they'd be on hand when I ran into problems, instead of spending forever trying to figure it out, giving up and going the next day anyway. As for the parking, just park over at the Avery end under the trees, no one will know. I used to park there when it was really hot and I wanted to get my car in the shade. Course, you could legitimately park anywhere in the nearby lot by just going into Borders for a bit before or after class. They may say customer parking only, but they don't say how long you have to be a customer, or that you have to leave the minute you're done in the store. *Evil grin* ( ... )

Actually the Avery Square parking is closed to students save after six and from what I've heard they've got a guard. Yes a guard. Someone checking to make sure you're actually going into Avery. And at Borders they are giving you a notice then towing. So they're really cracking down on the "NO PARKING" thing. Wee. So while I like your suggestions I'd rather not get towed.

I've already descovered the Math lab. But out of two times I've already had one problem with it. Thursday while I was there, half way through their open time some lady came in to give a lecture on how to use one of those big graphing calculators. Yes a lecture on it. Ugh. And even though she one table right in front of her she spoke loudly enough to cover the whole room clearly and I couldn't focus. So I left. Hopefully this is a rare occerance.

*Giggles* Ah, the trials of a new term. Trust me, they do this sort of thing at the begining of every new year for the benefit of the newbies who can't figure out how to ask for help on their own. These things tend to go on for about a week or two before they decide you either heard the info or finally come to the conclusion that yes, the students *are* capable of thinking for themselves often enough to get their own help. :p. As for the parking, I'm sorry. They must have heard me bragging last year about my wicked briliance. I promise to keep my mouth shut the next time I go all 'evil genius' and share the information only with you.
