Rain, in January!

A 5 minute walk outside in january should NEVER leave me as soaking wet as I am right now. Ridiculous. And then I go and pop open my emails, and what's on the top of the list but a nice little message from Reliance Home entitled "Beating the winter chill" I don't know where they're living but so called 'Winter chill' hasn't happened yet. ... So do I, and I had it with me today, and managed to keep it open against the massive amounts of wind, but gave up because said massive amounts of wind made the rain fall sideways.

LOL. Rubber boots and a long rain coat! (Mine's even a Calgary one; it's got a warm lining, which.. is prolly not applicable where you are.)

Rubber boots ... check. Long Rain coat... don't have. Kinda impractical to take to class :( One with a nice warm lining would be nice for this time of year, but less so in the fall.

Nooo I like it snowless... I've come to realize that I don't mind winter this year because it's not annoying to walk around, because all the precipitation comes when it's warm out, so nothing on the ground!

But then it freezes and becomes icy, and is just as bad :( I almost fell this morning on the ice.

Oh, there's no ice here. It's perfectly dry out. Being in the snowbelt is probably worse.
