I a bit ashamed it took me so long. I don't know, I've never been the most politically... aware person, and I probably will never be one of those people but it's no excuse for ignorance. I was watching it on the news last night after we watched some Tivoed shoe and the 'rents said nothing. Idk.

don't be ashamed! you're reading! you're watching! this in itself is commendable. you care about what the hell is going on in this damned world. and that's all that matters. sure, we may not ever make a difference, but the fact that you care, well i don't know, it's hard to find people who care anymore. they're too apathetic or cynical or just too self absorbed to observe the world around them.

i think caring is good for a person's perspective. their humility. their humanity.
