This weekend we finally moved the furniture back into the spare bedroom/office, put up some new artwork and set about making new curtains.

What a difference new paint makes!  I mean, you know it's going to but you never "really" appreciate it until it's up on the wall.  See what I mean?

Okay, time for an update, minimal as it is...

We (and our "contractor") took some time off but got right back into it and things are progressing quite quickly once again.

The baseboards and door trim are now all sanded, stained and sealed, the oak floor has been sanded and now the mudding of the holes and cracks on the walls has begun.
