Nightscape Photography

When someone told you that you couldn't possibly take a nice picture in almost pitch-dark situation, then he certainly don't know how to 'play' with light. I did some really cool nightscape photography while I was at Redang Island. Thanks to the full moon and some ambient light from the resort, I was able to capture some really surreal pictures of ( Read more... )

beautiful images.

i love the colors that come out of long night exposures. the blues are wonderful.

I set the white balance to tungsten to get the blue... or else it would turn out to be orange sky.

hey i came back to these again because they are so wonderful and i was curious (and i hope you don't mind me asking) if you used a flash and what settings did you use?

I didn't use flash at all, the only illumination I have was the moon and some ambient light from the building nearby. 15sec + f2.0 + iso200 + tungsten WB
