You've really been kicked cause you didn't agree on something?! Ok, that's stupid! I mean shouldn't it be ok to have different opinions on things in a friendship ? At least that's what I thought... Hope that was just a singular case *hugs*
Yap, that's what it looks like. Though I gotta admit it's not really the fact that I've been kicked but more that this was done by a grown up person who didn't even have the decency to tell me. And yes, it is a one time thing. :)
Yeah, I know what you mean about the f-list. I was threatened with being kicked off because one of my f-listers didn't agree with my low opinion of Mandy Patinkin.
You don't like Mandy Patinkin? Welcome to the club *g* Goes way back to the old CH days were I got pissed by his attitude which didn't seem to be a Geiger-thing only, a little to self-centered in my eyes. Seeing him in CM didn't make that go away either and the way he acted when they started filming season 3 only confirmed my opinion. But anyways. I don't think friendship is about being the same opion all the time. Things like different points of view make it interesting. The only thing you should pay attention to is to keep it on a normal level.
I don't defriend either. But I can understand if someone has a very long flist and notices there are quiet a few who never commented or whose journal has been abandoned for ages and makes a cut then. But usually this goes along with an advance warning and it is actually announced you're about to be cut off.
And this is the thing that hurts me most - if you wanna go as far as calling it hurt - that she didn't even have the guts to tell me, I only found out by chance.
But anyways. Still got you guys ;)
Hugs, Mel
PS: Btw, Silke asked if you wanted to post last years pic with Rudolf on her site. She has a new section there showing pics of fans who actually met him.
I hate pictures of myself, but I'll have to look for that picture. Do I send it to her?
You used scruffy Gibbs in your icon. I liked scruffy Gibbs, but not mustached Gibbs.
There are people who have me friended who I haven't friended back, but they still seem to keep me on their friends list - even though they rarely, if ever comment on my posts. I'm not sure why they have me on thieir list.
Oh god, I hate defriending for stupid reasons like that. And no matter what anyone claims, reasons like that? Are ALWAYS stupid. People are allowed to have their own opinions, and not only that, but are allowed to express them in the sanctity of their own journal. Jesus people, GROW UP.
However, to lighten things up a bit, re: the meme: WHEE, Fight The Future, Californication and X-Files! *dances*
Me too! I've been having a bit of a Duchovny-fest recently, because my mother (who is also a big fan(girl) of his) hasn't seen most of them. We just watched Evolution the other night, and House of D tonight, whee!
Would love to hold a DD-fest again. Problem is I have to play catch-up with far too many tv shows. Finally back on track with Supernatural as of last night. Seems like there are only Brothers And Sisters and the last season of Alias left.
Your mom is a fan of DD as well? Wow, that's great. It's still a miracle to me how I got my mom to join me to the movies for TXF and Evolution. She rarely likes any of the stuff I like. *sighs*
