Dude, don't worry, you're probably already better than half the kids IN band who have BEEN in band for years!!! Hahahahah. Don't sweat it. It'll be fun, and probably not as intense as you're expecting, musically speaking. Too bad you'll be in the pit and won't get to do a lot of marching, though, if my distant memories serve me correctly, you'll get to go through the same freshman training that everyone does during the first days of band camp =)

hahaha, yeah, dont worry. it's not bad at all. most people have no clue what they are doing, and you already DO have a lot of musical experience, so you're not really a noob. it'll be cool to have you with us now. =)
