A/N: HAPPY BIRTHDAY YESUNG AND DR3!
Two obsidian eyes narrowed, could he handle it? Would he finally succeed?!
“Yesung, hurry up!” Heechul shouted and everyone in the cake store looked down at the little boy with long black hair who was currently glaring at the other black haired boy who had his face plastered onto the glass container. He didn’t know which one to pick. Should he get the Bug’s Life cake or the cake with bugs from Lion King? Oh the terror he was right now.
“Calm down hyung.” Ryeowook tried to alleviate the anger which Heechul was displaying. The little brown hair boy feared Yesung would be pummeled to death soon if he couldn’t pick a cake. He sighed and wished Hankyung hyung was here or Siwon hyung or Kibum hyung, but they had left to play basketball along with Zhou Mi and appa (Kangin). Umma (Leeteuk) took Sungmin, Henry, Shindong and Kyuhyun to get gifts. They were right next door and umma didn’t have to worry as he had known the owner of the cake shop for a while and besides Aunt Audrey was at the shop with them. She was currently sitting at a table and playing with Eunhyuk hyung and Donghae hyung. Ryeowook had full admiration for his aunt as not many would be able to keep up with the twin’s antics; the rules of the game always seemed to change and Ryeowook was also confused and ended up having a headache.
Ryeowook turned back to look at Yesung who still looked lost in thought. “Yesung hyu-

“Sh…” Yesung put up one finger. “I need to think.” He continued glaring at the two. He REALLY did not know which one to pick. I mean, who could? For starters, Bug’s Life had always been his favorite movie especially since it was hilarious and the caterpillar made him laugh a lot. Most of his stuff were from Bug’s Life BUT the bugs from Lion King were soooo colorful!! And…secretly…Yesung thought they looked good to eat too but he’s not going to tell anyone or he’ll most likely get Ryeowook, Sungmin, and Henry to throw up, Heechul to make fun of him for thinking such things, and Siwon would probably throw Arrowhead water at him AGAIN for the 100th time. Seriously, how much water did he have?
“Think my a-” Heechul was about to retaliate when the door of the bakery opened.
“Hey Kangin.” Audrey said to the tall man who entered with four kids.
“Yesung, you’re still choosing?” Kangin looked down at his son whose face was still pressed against the glass door. The boy did not answer but instead he stayed quiet.
Hankyung went to Heechul’s side and whispered. “How long has he been like that?”
“Oh I don’t know…5000 hours!!” Heechul’s eyes were getting fiery and Hankyung knew if looks could kill. They would all be burned in a few seconds.
Siwon looked around, there was nothing interesting here…just some plain old cakes and what was that?! He looked up to see a candle that was shaped like the cross. Can this even possibly exist?! The little boy marveled at the beauty of the candle with eyes wide and jaw wide open. He must have it.
“Kibum!” He gestured the boy to his side. “How much money do you have?”
“I have about…” Kibum took out his coins and bills and started counting them. “Three dollars.”
“Perfect.” Siwon grinned and two dimples showed up on his face. He grabbed the candle by standing on his tippy toe.
“Why hyung?” Kibum questioned.
“Don’t you see how wonderful this is?!” Siwon showed the cross candle to Kibum.
Kibum merely stared at it blankly. What was so great about a “t” candle? None of their family members had the letter “t” except umma and it wasn’t there umma’s birthday. He didn’t want to correct his hyung but his money was at stake so…
“Umm hyung…” Kibum started. “That’s the letter ‘t.’”
“What?!” Siwon turned his head to him. “No it’s not! How can you say that to such a wonderful candle?!”
Too late, Kibum sighed and handed the money over to Siwon who ran to the cashier to get the candle. Siwon marveled at the candle and ran to Audrey who was now playing a pirate ninja alien monkey game with Eunhyuk and Donghae. She felt a tug on her shirt and looked down to see Siwon.
“Hey Siwon, what do you have there?” She looked at the little boy. He showed her the candle. “Is that a cross candle?!” Audrey said in shock. She knew it was a letter in the alphabet but didn’t want to say anything to hurt the boy’s feelings. I mean come on, who would want to see a cute boy with dimples become sad?!
“Yeah, I think God gave it to me.” Siwon smiled. Kibum sighed, more like he gave him the money to get it…
The door opened once again and Leeteuk came in carrying two bags of gifts and Shindong ate his chocolate happily while Henry and Sungmin held a bag together. Kyuhyun, on the other hand, held Sungmin's pink bunny much to his embarassment. However the little blond had wanted to help Henry with the bag so there he was...holding the pink bunny.
“What’s going on?” Leeteuk asked as he saw Kangin standing there staring at Yesung, Hankyung holding back Heechul who looked like he was about to explode any minute, Audrey, Eunhyuk and Donghae playing the randomest game in the world, Siwon looking like he’s in love with the candle he was holding, Kibum standing in the corner sighing and looked at his little wallet decorated with math equations, Yesung with his face in the glass door and Zhou Mi and Ryeowook staring at him staring at the glass door.
“Oh Leeteuk.” Audrey greeted.
“What’s going on?” The male repeated and he set the things down to sit by Audrey. “Oh Happy Brithday.” Leeteuk smiled and handed Audrey a gift.
“Thank you.” She opened it to find clothes for her dolls. “Aww you shouldn’t have!”
“No problem, but back to the situation, what’s going on?”
Audrey laughed and put the gift in her bag. “Well I think Yesung is bewitched by which cake to choose for his birthday.”
At the word bewitched, the once happy candle boy twitched. Bewitched?! How could he not notice earlier?! Siwon stared at Yesung who merely looked at the two cakes. He knew he must find a way to get the right tools for an exorcism…but his eyes soon landed on the cross candle and he couldn’t resist it’s beauty. “Drat!” Siwon muttered as he stared at the candle once more. “Wait…I’ve got it!” The little boy tore off the plastic the candle was covered in and charged at Yesung. “Move Yesung!!”
At those words, the little bug boy snapped out of it and ran away has Siwon took the cross candle and stabbed it into the Bug’s Life cake. “Devil be gone!!!!” He shouted and wiped his sweat. “Man, it was a tough battle.”
He turned around to see everyone gape at him and he only grinned innocently. “Yesung, are you okay?”
“Yeah…” The little boy looked at him as if he was the weirdest person in the world but Siwon misinterpreted as awe.
“No need to thank me. The world is safe now.” He smiled. Kibum face palmed himself, for once he really felt bad for his hyung.
“The cakes!” The owner of the bakery looked at the two ruined cakes.
“We’re sorry.” Leeteuk apologized as did Audrey and Kangin.
“Now it’ll never sell!” The woman sighed. Audrey suddenly had a plan.
“I’ll buy them both.” She smiled and handed money to the woman. “One Bug’s Life cake and one Lion King cake.” Audrey said, she couldn’t let Yesung have a damaged cake and besides, she kind of liked the Lion King one.
“Well, this turned out well.” Leeteuk said to Kangin as they all left the bakery.
“Yup.” Kangin held the onto one cake and a few bags of gifts while Audrey held onto one cake and a bag of gifts.
“Why didn’t we just do this sooner.” Heechul muttered under his breath and glared at the happy bug boy.
Yesung was the happiest as his problem was solved. He smiled. Thinking is powerful.
