I find it dispicable that I type the name John Locke into a search engine and what I turn up is a steaming pile of references to a character on Lost.

Clearly some jackass writer on that show took a philosophy or political theory 101 class and decided to use that to dumb down America. Yuck!

Shouldn't your anger be directed towards the search engine's lack of sophistication, or maybe even greater pastiche as it were?
