I've tried for two years to get us back to the Triangle w/ IBM, in any reasonable capacity... no go. :(

Our other options were Boston and Tuscon, neither of which we were thrilled with to be honest.

Having been to both Boston and Tucson, I'm forced to agree. :\

HM LET ME THINK ABOUT THAT. >D
Seriously, though. I have connections with almost every one in the general Seattle area. >D If you want serious rec's, I can do that. It all depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to buy your comics in and how far you want to go to get them.

Awesome. :D We're almost certainly going to end up on the Eastside.

FWIW, I still get mine shipped from Chapel Hill every few weeks because a) I've been a customer there for, um, 15 years, and they kind of know my tastes, b) I liked supporting a small shop, and c) I couldn't find anywhere up here (outside of Manhattan) that I liked going to. :/ (No, I'm sorry, having a shop full of baseball memorabilia, with a small rack of comics in the back does not make you a comics shop.)

Since I'm pretty sure I can strike c off the list in the Seattle area, the balance is going to have to tip in favor of making a trip to pick them up myself once in a while. Like, say, no more than once a week. Tops. ;)
