your parents are clearly amazing. they tend to just surprise you at the most random moments, huh? and yeah, i started harry potter too, quite a surprising beginning i think. and how did you finish that hemingway book, 3 pages was all i could take. and thats amazing about the writing thing, im like obsessed with typewriters, they are like my favorite thing ever (well, school supply shopping is also way up there). but i love the little clicking noises that it makes, and how much fun your fingers have typing on them, so kudos for that. once when i was little, i watched and rewound the scene in the original willy wonka movie where willy sings pure imagination like 298347234 times, and tried to typewrite the lyrics. as one could imagine, it was a little bit chaotic. anyway, thought you should know that. and i dont know if the penguin bit is about the new march of the penguin movie coming out, but that movie looks like it could possibly be the cutest thing ever. okay, this is waaaay too long for a comment, but whats a girl to do?

well i haven't been actually writing on my typewritter currently, but that's a good idea. That was absolutely the cutest thing in the world, you trying to type the song. The second cutest thing were the penguins from the movie march of the penguins they were adorable balls of fur popping out from behind a massive fat layer.
