Browsing through the
Ateneo.edu websites,
1. The
SOH website has not been updated since 2003. It is also, sadly and ironically, the most plain-looking of the four Loyola Schools websites. :'(
2. The
SOM website lives up to its SOM image: straight to the point and very business-like. It's also the most updated site among the four.
3. The
SOSS website is the most innovative and creative of all. It's refreshing to see a school website designed in such an artsy manner. :)
4. The
SOSE website is very easy-to-navigate, information-friendly and "cute" with all the icons. ^-^ It gives you an impression that courses under science and engineering are really, really fun and easy--when we all know that the courses in it are pretty tough. It also has the most pictures among the four LS websites.
I also saw *very* familiar pictures in the
SOSE website. The one that stood out most for me is a brilliantly composed photograph of five girls mimicking the popular Taiwanese TV series, Meteor Garden...
+_+
Obviously, this photograph was taken by
Chinkin, that's why I said it was familiar. And I remembered that Chinkin was commissioned to take photographs for the SOSE before we graduated, perhaps he submitted a huge chunk of his portfolio plus other more SOSE-concentrated photographs, so the pictures in the SOSE website are his.
But did you know that in this Meteor Garden mimicking picture, those five girls were a bunch of IS majors batch 2005, namely (L-R) Anna, Taskeen, Mitzi, Blooey and Chattie?
Obviouly, that Mitzi I mentioned, is me.
And no, I wasn't wearing blue knickers as supposedly revealed in the photograph. That was my blue Speedo. I was wearing a swim suit underneath my gym clothes. ThankYouVeryMuch.
If you don't believe me, here's the front view of that shot:
Once again, from L-R (flipped-side version): Chattie, Blooey, Mitzi, Taskeen and Anna.
Chinkin took those photographs of us in our junior year ACP trip to Caliraya sometime in 2003. How fast time flies!
So, having Humanities majors "modelling" in a Science and Engineering website means that we're *Almost* Famous somehow. ;P
But I kid...
...since a lot of the "models" in the SOSE website pictures hail from different, non-SOSE courses as well.
Thus, In conclusion, (and here's the reality) that makes us SOSE website "models" *ALMOST* FAMOUS! ;P Haha!
