1. When I was a child, I've always wanted to have long hair. However, my mother imposed a rule on my hair length that until I was 12 years of age, I could never grow my hair long. She did this so I would look my age and not older as long hair makes a girl look older than she really is for some reason or another.
2. My mom still had control over my haircut/style until I was 13. I used to take it against her, because I so wanted to have my hair long for the longest time and I was already 13 and she still had her way with my hair! But today, I realise that she did the right thing controlling the length of my hair--since my hair was extra fine and thin when I was a child, naturally constant trims and short-lengths did it good--now I have complete control over my hair length--the only problem now is that my father doesn't like me to cut my hair short everl--and it is a lot thicker and healthier at present! Thanks to my mother's hair rule. :)
3. This is an oxymoron: Although I rarely get into accidents, I am accident prone. (i.e. quality over quantity) And the accidents usually happen on my birthday. The biggest one was probably the pencil accident: I fell on top of an upright pencil and the lead lodged inside my chin. It was lodged in enough that the pencil dangled from my chin! Of course it was a horrendous moment and I felt faint and eventually fainted, hit my head on the floor, had a mild concusion and convulsed for a brief moment in time. I had to be examined: MRI, EEG and other neurology works--thankfully, results were ok. Oh and I still have the lead mark and scar on my chin. It happened on my 17th birthday.

5. Not everyone I knew in college, knew that I could play the piano. I am a classically trained pianist. I've studied piano since I was four, but I had to stop at eighteen due to the distance of my university to my piano school, as well as my school load.
