bread

I never knew that bread and butter could be such an exquisite culinary experience. The bread here is that good. There are two main kinds, allulla and marraquete, both of which are way better than any bread in the US. Lightly toasted, with a little mantequilla, and I'm in heaven. mmmmn, do I ever wish I'd chosen latin america instead of siberia? When I'm eating liver for the third day in a row, yeah, just maybe. Sorry I haven't commented yet...keep writing

Although the bread is indeed fantastic, and I have eaten very well here (my host mom is an awesome cook), there aren't a whole lot of Russian speakers. So I think Russia was probably a good call since you're a Russian major.
When's your semester done? I'm back in the States December 28.
