I met this guy last night at a band thing and he was…super cute with cheese. He had red hair and blue eyes and he was Irish, too cute for words. Alyssa said I was “smitten” and I was, but he didn’t ask for my number or anything. :( I don’t think he liked me the way I liked him anyway

I played like crap thought at the band gig and I felt really bad that I messed up. And I felt even worse because I was flirting with a boy when I should have been feeling bad.

See. the only times I mess up is when Wooten decides to give a speech right after we play and I mess up and it's always a speech to make us feel bad about messing up... like... starving children in Ethiopia and lonely old men with retro band sweatshirts and more passion for the south hills band program than we do.

then, you feel REALLY bad.
even though you just play a stupid bass drum.
and the part you messed up on or missed was supposed to be played unison or at piano or something discreet like that where it's hardly noticed when you play it right, anyways.

But damn. Do I feel bad.
