The senior year at Willamette can kill people. Believe me I know. I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I really want to teach high school band. Growing up that is all I could think of doing until last year. Something killed it....and it's really weird. I went to a football game on Friday for my high school and watched my old band and I was like "Man, I wish I was back there. That's when music was fun. What happened between then and now?" And I could only think of Willamette. Well, now that I'm away from everything I realize it's only up to me how much I practice and enjoy things. I can now pick and choose what I want to do and nobody has to pressure me into anything. Take a step back from graduation and try not to do anything you did at WU. After a few months you'll figure out what you really want to do. After not going to Cali for school I had (or still have) some time on my hands to think about what I miss the most.
