He was perfect as the boyfriend. He counter-balanced Will's shrillness, his nerousis, his nellyness, his feminimity.
He was everything that Will started out to be when the show premired, before Will became a charactature. And to have us get invested in that relationship only to have it ripped away (thanksgiving with Vince's family?), it's just cheap and sucks.
