My coworker redburnsalerted me to a show at Bar Noir. I went and consumed malty beverages with and his drummer Evan. The show was to be Chromalodeon, who specialize in music from video games. Alas, although the show was scheduled for 9:00, the main act wasn't on stage by 11:00, at which point I begged off. We did get a couple of sampler CDs for showing up

It's nice to know that, despite being bought by Avram Hornik, Bar Noir will never change.

Well, they changed a little bit: They hung large movie advertisements in the main room. And they painted the restrooms and hung notices that Bar Noir was now part of the Hornik empire. So they have that going for them. AD Amorosi was there; Needles Jones wasn't.
