Saturday I was on air patrol. Every tire in the joint now has its fair share of air. And price tags on everything. I told Brian the manager that I was really hating the slime that they put in the tubes on the comfort bikes. The stuff squirts out when you air up the tires. I went to Ruka yesterday to pick up a mask that I had on layaway. Very beautiful old mask representing Hanuman the Monkey God. So there I was, doing something bike-related at the LBS, when who should walk in but khrystabelle and yagathai. Mr. yagathai was looking for a Cypress DX, which we had none of in stock at our location. Today was my first day at my weekend job at the local bike shop (LBS). I changed a bunch of tires, made some small sales, helped build a bike or two. I came home greasy and tired. I get to do it again tomorrow.

The last time I responded to a survey like this, I unknowingly responded to several of my coworkers and got a date for my troubles. Any takers?

khrystabelle, I went to the newly opened Gianna Jrs' for a GG special. With hot peppers, pizza sauce, and mozarella cheese. A very messy sandwich indeed. I was supposed to get rid of a current journal and acquire one from someone in an out-of-town office who is leaving the company.

Instead I got the new journal and kept the old one. Plus I have an abstracts supplement to get out to a typesetter tomorrow, plus I have to help the creepy woman in the office with some of her work.
