+016+ In which he contemplates the truth

This grim atmosphere is heavy. With any luck, the spirits of the student body will be lifted soon.

If the rumors and posts are to be believed, Belphegor was the one responsible for this act of violence. I feel as if I was remiss in my attentions...I considered Belphegor a friend, and yet I never ( Read more... )

Yoite...? How are you handling all this? I know you must be concerned over Minato's well-being.

...Even from inside the hospital wing, it didn't take long for the evidence to become clear.

Two slashes to the left arm, three to the right... a small one across the neck and tossed down the staircase.

When Ritsuka was calling for help, I thought I stopped breathing. Maybe I did. I was already in the hospital wing at that time. Yukimi was here and he used himself as a body shield so I couldn't see how vicious his injuries were first hand.

I heard of the wounds but not of their severity...but perhaps it was for the best that Professor Yukimi was there, then. I can't imagine anyone would wish to see something like that.

Seeing what he was capable of, I'm inclined to agree. That is precisely the kind of evil I wish to rid the world of.

Everyone has their own ideals of what is 'right' or 'wrong'. I cannot believe any one person is entirely good or entirely evil.

Those who think they can toy with the lives of others ARE evil. But even then, they're upholding their own standards.

Regardless if that is the case, then they're unfit to be amongst the rest of us. There is no room on the planet for filth such as that.

What can I say? You can never tell who you're actually talking to.

No, I haven't heard of him until now! Who would let some psychotic killer in here?!

How someone with such a malicious intent was admitted is quite the question, but my question is what they plan to do with him now. He has committed a wicked act against a student--such an act must be punished.

Hmm... Belphegor made it rather clear that he follows the Death Eater ideals.

I was not very keen on how he approached my relations with Ritsuka, and how he approached me, expecting the same cruelty. The same obsession with destruction.

I was not aware, or I wouldn't have accepted it.

The only destruction that needs to occur are of these rampant dark sentiments. Such an unremitting evil and yet I saw nothing.

Likely not because you were oblivious to it, but he gave you not enough of an indication for it. You're a pureblood, correct? He likely did not treat you as pitifully as he did I.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. I am getting quite tired of hearing these anti-muggle sentiments, as they slander both Ritsuka and I.

He spoke of the status of his blood when we first met, but not to such an extent.

Despite being a pureblood, Father instructed me to value people for their actions and motivation for good, rather than matters of blood. He has met far too many dark wizards that are 'pureblooded' to think something like that determines worth.
