I fail to see the amusement in signing someone up for a date when they are unwilling, however, as I'm certain that wasn't Dumbledore's intention for funding this Masquerade, I suggest those doing so cease and desist. And I can't imagine a reluctant date would be pleasant in the least. As for the Masquerade itself, I don't plan on wearing a costume, ( Read more... )

...That's exactly why they do it in the first place, to make the person miserable. If you don't get it you're never going to.

Perhaps it's not worth understanding then.

Nope, not at all.

But you could at least try to think of a costume, that's a part of the fun of Halloween.

...I can't recall ever actually wearing a Halloween costume at Hogwarts.

That's against the masquerade rules, you know.

First of all, signing people up who don't want to be signed up is half the point~!

And second, you're no fun at all. How can you come to a masquerade without a costume?

You can't ban fun. Goodness.

And I think you might be missing the point, not wearing a costume to a costume party. Just maybe. You've at least got to have a mask.

As of now, I'm not inclined to wear a costume, but thank you, Crona. I look forward to seeing your completed mask.

[ohgod the pressure now!]

Well, I'm sure you don't have to have an entire costume. You could probably get away with dress robes and just a mask.
