I read the article and definitely see some of it as being applicable to my life, but you know what, I love Sociology!

You CAN do anything. So you follow the road less traveled, you take the paths that you think will make you happy. All the Sociology professors I've had are kick ass people... well, except for like 2 of them who were just terminally boring which you ARE NOT. If not you, then who? You have to replenish the pool, it's a great field of study and there are so many different things it encompasses, it's sort of endless.

And it's so difficult to even know what you want to do, but when I asked you, you knew. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. You can never be sure if you're doing what's right for you until you do it... and then you're still allowed to do something different. You have time. And you have time to stress when you're dead so calm that shit down and move forward with some confidence about your goals.

oh god. this optimism thing is killing me. and now i have modest mouse in my head. the good times are killing me. which they are as I am currently hung over.
