Ok so heres the thing: I want to talk to this "thief", however doing so could backfire and get me into some issues i don't need to be in. maybe the thief is trying to protect you from falling into a cycle of: think you have a shitty day at work, come home to a nice bowl of cereal, pass out, repeat. after a while it makes you pretty boring. plus you will learn one day that almost every day will be shitty if you allow it to shit on you. once this is accepted life seems much sunnier. i have been in retail for more than 3 years now, and shortly into it i realized exactly that. i'm not sure what kind of work you do, but it can't be much worse than being in a room for 8 hours explaining the same 5-6 things to asian tourists over and over and over each day in and out.

or you could move out. hell, i would - and i'm surprised you haven't already!
