Reflections upon religion.

I have wanted to do this for a week or two; I want to write a short essay berating certain religions and pointing out the contradictions of others. Easter Sunday seemed perfect. (Of course, the Easter Holiday can be traced back to before Christianity to a pagan holiday celebrating the Vernal (spring) equinox and the rebirth of nature after winter

this is quite possibly one of the single most retarded things i have ever read. It makes you seem ignorant and unexcepting. I myself am not particularly religious, so don't think this has anything to do with defending God. Please revise this or delete it so the proof of your ignorance is gone.

ok. well i cant say that i was particularly impressed by drake's essay, and i agree with the statement that parts are uninformed or ill expressed. however, i dont mind Drake knowing this. (i can defend my thoughts, if you really want me to, but i dont think anyone cares) anonymous comments, especially of this variety, are particularly weak. you didnt do anything to make yourself sound any more informed or educated, and, frankly, your vocabulary is embarrassing. retarded? if you disagree with something stated, explain your disagreement and then back it up. dont sling anonymous, meaningless names at the subject matter. and most definitly do not demean the person who was bold enough to assert his opinion, whereas you just managed third-grade insults and empty rhetoric.

I think that by saying that this essay stems from Drakes ignorance is quite possibly proof of your own ignorance. It is a matter of opinions and we all know that we cant take everything Drake says 100% seriously. However, maybe you are also saying hes ignorant because he has perspective on religion and most people dont. Most people are religious because there families are. Drake was once a christian, if Im not mistaken, as was I, so therefore we are blessed with perspective(no pun intended). Im not asking you to doubt your religion, just try and view yours and others without bias and with intelligence.

Dont call Drake ignorant, hes far from it.

Sorry, didn’t mean to post as anonymous. Not that I really know him ( I was browsing thru a friend’s friend page), which I guess is another reason why I should have phrased what I was trying to say differently (perhaps not quite so rudely…) I think the fact that he wrote this is impressive but some of what he said seems off base
