so this post isn't a dramatic as the subject heading would let on. Just a shout out to the new In Flames CD. So today I will have my 5th band practice over the last 7 days, everyday since sunday. Played at Champs tonight with Gravity. We played pretty well, but there were some sound issues up front. It's hard to sound good in Champs if you play loud. It's a freakin' tunnel and everything sounds better outside. I've been sick all day, not crazy sick, just head cold/tired sick. I didn't manage to get out of bed until 6pm. A Tribute to a Scene Trooper
Today was lovely. . .can't wait until the weather gets more consistent. In my last post I spoke of being pretty busy from a musical standpoint. Two shows in one weekend is rather busy for me, but I don't have to look too far to see someone who is much, much more busy than I am. Saw I am the Speed of Light at the Lodge on Saturday and I was quite blown away. I play with Kevin and Jeff in Gravity so I'm pretty familiar with how great they play together. a little nervous and apprehensive about the show tonight. I just hope everyone has fun and we present ourselves well. Looks like the first Jumper KO show will be sometime in February. Can't wait. Leaving work now so this is it. Wish me luck! -

I miss being in school, but I don't miss exams. Anyways this is a busy week for me. I have a show on Thursday and I've been practicing with either band almost every day. Eastern Promises
What a movie. I highly recommend it. Powerful and sad, intense at times, while still leaving you feeling good when its over. It wound me up a bit and I immediately went to the bar for a beer. This may have been Viggo's best role. I trying to see Love in the Time of Cholera on Saturday. I'm reading the book now and it's great. I'm glad one of ( Read more... )
