my friend aaron recently posted about how prop 8 is showing likely to pass in the polls, this would end the right for gays to marry. i can't say it any better than him, so i'll just re-post it here.

they were pro prop 8 peoples in ptown on thursday evening dancing with their signs at the corner of hopyard and valley. the signs said things like "prop8 = parental rights"
how about just
"I'm a big fat bigot!"
it made me want to cry.
seriously. i don't understand how people can be happy to stand on the "no" side of equal rights...bi-racial marriages weren't allowed until 1967...which isn't THAT long ago...which seems totally absurd now...but it took along time for even that to pass.
