I hadn't realized until today (shows how much I pay attention to these things) that the director of Crash is from London. This London.

In retrospect, it made the movie a little bit more odd, given our oh-so-diverse city.

Though I did enjoy the movie, I do know what you mean about the feeling of moral manipulation.

Paul Haggis (sp?) is from London eh? Interesting. I heard he thought of the movie after he was carjacked in LA and that he wanted people to either love it or hate it.
