While talking to a mate tonight, he pointed out to me that since my ex's gf has been living with him, her salary should, under UK Child Support Agency regulations, have been taken into account when determining the amount of financial support I receive for Lol for the last year.

This would mean an increase of roughly £200 per month on what I receive

I don't have a kid, and I"ve never been married so anything I have to say should probably be taken with a grain of salt. That being said, I'm pretty sure if I ever have children I"ll be ferocious about protecting them and providing for them. If I needed money, and there was a route to get it, my personal embarrassment/humility/feelings would probably have nothing to do with my kid's happiness.
