So last I checked, rumour was that they're talking of scrapping the Tulip Festival. Apparently they're not bringing in as much money as they're spending. They received a healthy injection of cash from the city in order to hold it this year. But still nobody came. And do you want to know why nobody came?

maayybbee...(this an un educated guess)....they'll scrap like...the bands and stuff....but still advertise the tulip festival....?? cause isnt it just looking at tulips? And how come the DUTCH dont do shit? Like come? I mean, its FOR THEM

I'm sad. The tulip festival has been around since I was wee, and I did go several times, and had buddies who actually helped out with the musical portion of the festival in later years.

I hope they don't do away with it, they should get creative and find more ways of making revenue! Really push during the days that it doesn't rain. DOESN'T ANYBODY WATCH THE APPRENTICE?
