Family in need of your prayers...

I woke up this morning and had several missed calls on my phone from my friends at the school the kids go to that I worked with last year... one of the aides that I worked very very close with last year...and a very dear friend who I still emailed weekly and loved so dearly...died last night... she is in her early 40's - very active and healthy --

hey girl....i thought about you this morning as we were all getting this sad news and hoped someone would let you know...it just seems so surreal...yesterday we were laughing and joking during an activity with the kids. she was an awesome lady and will be missed dearly...my prayers are with her family and friends for peace and comfort. love you girl...gonna be thinking bout you!

it is shocking... and we are all in a state of shock and sadness but I am also very thankful for the little time we had and think of all the laughs and fun and that is a blessing... I will praying for you guys as well... next week will not be easy and lots of emotions.... all we can do is pray!!!

I am still in shock about it. The selfish part of me wants to know: why her, why now? My heart just breaks for her family. I get a knot in my stomach whenever I think about Monday. This whole week will be tough. I will talk to Lakesha tomorrow and let you know where we can meet on Tuesday.
