I'm trying to decide between a macbook (pro would be great but fairly certain that falls outside my budget) and a laptop from the Dell XPS line. It's almost a coin-toss in my head, and my friends are insta-Apple promoters (with good reason, I suppose), but...I feel stubborn about following the crowd. Hmm.

I tried a random Italian beer from the supermarket called Peroni. I thought to myself "Hm, I've never had an Italian beer before. Worth a shot." It's light, fairly unremarkable, except for the rather dry, perhaps slightly hoppy finish. The description of it as "crisp" suits it. An okay summer beer. I'm currently drinking a bottle of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. Alcohol content: 9%. Highest I've ever had as far as beer goes. Yes, I know it can get even higher, like barleywine. It's got a toasty wheat flavor, with caramel and chocolate undertones, but the hops make their own case and balance it well through the middle and end taste ( Read more... )
