Now I'm absolutely spellbound by your writing. I've read everything you've written, and every day I check in to see if there is something new. Thank you so much for letting me read your wonderful stories!
Still... you are one shining star at un utterly dark sky. I wish there were more like you out there!

and let me hasten to add that those listed above are established authors whose work i've had the pleasure of reading. and i have very specific tastes in fan fiction; i read [and write] pretty much house-wilson friendship stories. so there are, of course, some great stories out there, concentrating on other aspects of the show! and there are many, newer authors, who i've not read [i have this whole, weird, 'i won't read while i'm writing' thingy going on] whose work is, i suspect, just as well-written, just as worthy of being read.
and also. i know i've left many out who are well worth your time. i just wanted to let you know that, in my opinion, this fandom has many gifted, talented writers--and i envy you, just now ( ... )

If I knew a little more about what you liked, I could recommend some specific things. Deelaundry is wonderfully skilled and a friend of mine, and she usually writes House and Wilson slash. If you enjoy that, you'll love her work. She also has some excellent gen stories in which they are friends, and she marks those so her readers know what to expect.
Mer_duff, maineac and I all write friendship only; Corgigirl ranges a bit more widely, sometimes adding a graceful touch of romance with House and Cuddy, and it's all absolutely gorgeous. Nightdog is perhaps the most fantastically imaginative writer in the fandom -- but do heed her occasional warnings for dark, troublesome content. I love her.
Perspi will ... just delight you.
I'm going to stop now, not because I'm out of good writers but because I could babble all day about them. This handful is a good starting point, though.

maybe 'cuz it's me, so you were expecting something heavy and angsty! ;) not this time--just fluff, pure and simple. house was glad that wilson stood up for himself. wilson was angry that house had called him over, and then let him leave. eventually, they got it all sorted out, and they all lived happily after. or not. the end.
see? simple. fluffy. comforting.

I loved Wilson coming back because he knew something was off, but didn't know exactly what, and then putting together all the pieces. And the plastic jar? Adorable.

i loved the 'plastic jar' ending, but worried that it was too predictable. however, it 'felt right' to me, so i went with it. and really--since wilson most likely was the one who'd purchased the glass jar [because i see wilson going for those 'gourmet' peanut butters that still come in that hazardous glass!]--it was only fitting that he 'house-proof' that particular danger, right? ;)
