okay i need help guys

if anyone can let me know how to change the width of my text boxes...i've been trying for hours and i can't do it

i can change the black part but then the gray part is still wider than the black part and it looks odd

can ANYONE help me puhleeeeeease?

yeah like...on my journal page and my friends page the boxes take up the entire page and i only want it to take up a half or a third of the page...

I honestly cannot give you any further advice for a bit longer, because I just started reading up on this myself (sad because I've had a paid account since Christmas). So just use this as a starting point. LJ has plenty of FAQ things if you want to try searching for help yourself. ;) Good luck!
