k, help me pick one:

Spain, France, or Italy: Where and Why?

I'm going to (attempt to) do Conversation Corps after summer school. My only option is Europe, and I know jack about Europe, so I'm asking y'all to help me figure out where the heck I wanna go. If they accept my application, cause my application is kinnnnda late ( Read more... )

Um... Anthony LOVED France, but he said that there can sure be some American haters there. Pro is good food and art and the like... Con is that they kind of are Frenchy about America.

Spain, OMG. A girlfriend of mine ended up living there a year. Good food, good people, and Spanish iss well known in the US now...

Another one of my girlfriends LOVED Italy. Good food, people, hotties.... I don't remember the Cons of the latter two places because neither of the women are near me for me to ask...

SPAIN. I was just there for a year and it is the most glorious place ever. Also, the boys are wildly hot and so loose. You can't go wrong.

As in, you can hook up in the restroom of any club... The drawback is, however, that people live with their parents, so if you're looking for something deeper than that, you're going to have to get married. I would say it's ideal for right after a breakup. It does get pretty hot in the summer, however. So you should consider that.

If it were me I'd choose Spain. Been there and loved it there. Beautiful, laid back culture, friendly people, good food, good weather, just all around awesome.

hard choices here...

what do you want to get out of? all 3 countries offer great views, nice people (don't know about french since they're all high and mighty), the food is fab, and all have great destination landmarks.

i suppose for me, i would go for france cuz that's where the Eiffel tower is...Oh! The Palace of Versailles...and well, my name is French! XP
