I really like what you've done with shades of grey here! The light of the candles seems brighter for it. I love the snow falling outside. That fond look in Padma's eyes is everything!! And the HAND HOLDING JNESJBFBZ Hermione looks so relaxed and focused at the same time and omg, kudos on the way you've drawn hands there (hands are so difficult to draw for me always!). Yayyy so glad you like it! Hands are super hard for me usually as well, but I've tried to learn to just wing it more and let go of getting them perfect, because they're hardly ever the center of attention anyway :D

I love it :'))))))))) Yup, same pretty much. When I get too fed up with it I just draw gloves because it allows for less detail and gloves look so good *_*

First off, awesome work on the snow :D

Mkay, I don't know how you did it but I love the light from the candles. I love how they're the only bright colour and they really do seem to glow. They are just great!

I love how this is a study date. Hermione is all into her work but still reaching out to Padma. And Padma forgetting her work for a bit in favour of just looking at Hermione <3

Heee yay glad you liked it! My animation skills are still at level n00b, so the snow was a good, simple project to do :D

The candles were actually pretty simple job with a fuzzy sort of brush on the program I use! But I'm really pleased with the effect too. I was starting to regret using a gray palette until the point when I added the light and the whole picture came to life.
