In 2004 during my study abroad program in the Netherlands I took a free weekend trip to Amsterdam. Unlike every college student ever, I had absolutely no interest in drugs. My Uncle lives near Washington D.C. He invited my brother and I to stay for a few days and visit him in Virginia in 2000. We went to King’s Dominion which was really fun and he showed us around the different memorials in Washington D.C. I wasn’t really all that young but it is hard to remember. In 2007 I went to Oahu, Hawaii with my boyfriend at the time and his family. The highlight of the trip was going to Hanauma Bay. The water was clear and the fish plentiful. In 2000 I went to Vietnam for the second time with my father to visit my family, only this time my brother came too. It was really neat to have someone there I could talk to. In 2010 Joe and I met up with my Uncle and his wife in Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon alone was an awesome trip. We took a plane ride over it, a jeep out to Antelope Canyon to walk through it and ended with a Colorado river raft through it that stopped at various point for us to get out and walk around. In 2007 I went to Carmel and Monterey. The shoreline in Monterey was covered with sea lions lying all over the rocks. It was funny to see them in such uncomfortable looking positions and made me wonder about how they even climbed up there. I even spotted sea otters out in the distance ( Read more... )
