About learning japanese.... Mangas aimed at younger readers are best. You can see the little hiragana above the kanji, furigana, telling you how it is supposed to be read and making it easier to find in a dictionary.

For my dictionary needs I use a free software JWPCE, it is a bit tricky to get it started, but once you do you get a dictionary, a word processor and above all, it has several tools to look up for unknown kanji by number of strokes, radicals and such which really helps if you're without furigana.

Other than that it is very important to get used to the usual japanese sentence structure, and how do variants bring different meanings. It sometimes get to the point that you can grasp a sentence's meaning just by how it is structured, being able to figure out the nouns by context. It's like they have a formula book for sentence structure.

I just wanted to apologize for not having time to chat lately. The only reason I get on AIM is so my brother can show me stuff he's working on. I'll poke you post-exams.
